Last week I had the great pleasure in welcoming two little models for a photoshoot.
Since the January sun doesn't last very long and the weather was rather dreadful I opted for an indoor session with a relatively early start. So my living room has become a studio for a while and my 3 massive windows provided just enough soft natural light, so precious these days. I am new to child photography but I know it can be tricky and there's lots of patience and energy required. Laura was not in the modelling mood at all but since children are unpredictable in a quite predictable way, my inner child reminded me that a lollipop has some magic powers and it definitely can un-bad a bad day...and it worked wonders! We ended up capturing some great moments of innocence, purity and lots of cuteness.

It was a fabulous evening of cabaret, burlesque and vintage dancing by Bristol's ace showgirl troupe, The Flaming Feathers. Sexy, stunning and electrifying performance with a cheeky wink and a smile. The ladies are insanely skilled and talented and the choreography will keep your full attention from start to finish. The show took place at the Trinity Centre and it was a bit challenging because of very poor lighting. Dancers moved vigorously across the stage under extremely low and colored light and I've never shot stage performances before but was pleased how well my camera can handle low light situations and high ISO.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Wedding!
I have to say the love, fun, joy and festivity from the day shines through.
These photos bring back laughter and tears. And I mean lots of tears.
The ceremony was unique and filled with genuine sense of love and protection.
Surrounded by their family and closest friends (what a charming group of people) Jess and Ryan beautifully reminded us of what is so important. I found myself weeping behind my camera at some point and when I looked around I don't think there was a dry eye in the whole of Goldbrick House! I was hired from 11 am till midnight so there was no surprise that my final edited folder contained 900 gorgeous images. Here there's just a fraction of it.
